About Glenn Soles

Glenn Soles is the founder and President of Lazarus IT Services.  He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Microsoft Certified Professional, CompTIA A+ Certified.  He holds a IET Degree from the Southern College Of Technology and graduated from Newnan High School in Newnan, Georgia.

Glenn’s career spans nearly 20 years, including positions at both small and large companies.  Prior to founding Lazarus IT Services, he was a Network Engineer at 1ST Franklin Financial.  Glenn joined the company to help expand the current local area network located at the home office to a wide area network covering five states, over 200 branches, and over one thousand employees.  His duties included all aspects of network management such as working with routers and switches, network security, working with helpdesk, backups, virtualizations, migrations, exchange etc. It is here where Glenn got the initial idea for an IT services company to serve the specific need of companies who do not have these talents in-house.

Glenn previously served as the Helpdesk Manager for the National Center for Environmental Health at the CDC, a government agency that provides services nationally. While at the CDC Glenn was presented with the Superior Computer Support Service Award presented by the Vessel Sanitation Branch. This position gave Glenn a birds-eye view of the daily operations of a large enterprise sized company.  Glenn also managed a staff of 15 technical personnel.   

Glenn also served in the US Army in the IT Field. Because of his hard work and desire to acquire new knowledge Glenn rose from the rank of Private to the rank of Staff Sargent in just five years. During this time in the service he served in highly secure areas of communications. In addition to receiving many awards he was also asked to serve in the following areas: White House Communications Agency, Delta Force, etc.
